Position: Lead GCP Data Engineer Location: 100% Remote (Preferred local to DFW TX or NJ/NYC area) Duration: 9+ Months Project Type: Reporting & Analytics – Call Center Data Visibility Job Description: Key Responsibilities: • Lead the design and development of robust, scalable data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). • Integrate data from multiple sources including call center platforms (e.g., Genesys, Avaya, NICE), CRM systems, and customer feedback tools. • Optimize data models for reporting and analytics using BigQuery, Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Composer, and Pub/Sub. • Utilize DBT (Data Build Tool) for transformation workflows and data modeling • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across the data engineering lifecycle. Required Skills & Experience: • 7+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 3 years in a lead role. • Strong hands-on experience with GCP services: BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Cloud Composer, and IAM. • Proficiency in SQL, Python, Apache Beam, and DBT. • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, or Infrastructure as Code (IaC) in a cloud environment. • Deep understanding of data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, and data modeling. • Familiarity with call center data, systems and KPIs such as AHT, FCR, CSAT, and agent performance metrics. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
