Lead Healthcare Data Analyst

Job Title: Lead Data Analyst (Healthcare) Location: Reston, VA Duration: 6 Months+ Must have: SQL and Healthcare Claims or Enrolment experience Purpose The main purpose of a data analyst is to find meaning in data as a thought leader so that the derived knowledge can be used to make informed decisions and assist the organization in making better business decisions. Essential Functions 25% Engages in data exploration using various programming languages (reading and writing code), requiring advanced knowledge of multiple database structures 15% Collect, analyze, and interpret data to glean insights, and develop business appropriate recommendations 15% Serve as an expert resource supporting data questions and issues from stakeholders and driving to resolution 15% Research and analyze data flow across complex data ecosystem including operational and analytical data platforms 10% Manage the collection of business and technical requirements from stakeholders to deliver data driven solution. Produces and reviews technical documentation that is consistent with professional standards. 10% Lead in the design, development, validation and delivery of data to provide insight into business decisions 10% Act as a mentor to all team members Required Experience 8 years experience in an progressively responsible analytical/quantitative role. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience. Experience In Healthcare Industry Hands on experience SQL Platforms with experience delivering production projects at scale. Should have Lead experience (Leading the project but not leading a team) Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple and diverse stakeholders and leadership roles.
