Lead Knowledge Graph Engineer (Neo4j) - Investment Bank A leading global investment bank is seeking a Platform Lead with strong Neo4j administration experience to own and scale its enterprise graph data platform. This is a hands-on platform ownership role focused on ensuring the stability, performance, and governance of Neo4j environments supporting critical enterprise data workloads. Key Responsibilities • Own the design, deployment, and administration of Neo4j graph platforms • Ensure high availability, performance, scaling, backup, and recovery of production systems • Define and enforce platform standards, governance, and operating procedures • Manage cluster operations, monitoring, and incident response • Optimise graph database performance and support large-scale data workloads • Integrate Neo4j with broader enterprise data infrastructure (ETL, APIs, data platforms) • Support data modelling standards and platform best practices • Collaborate with infrastructure and data engineering teams on platform evolution Requirements • Strong Neo4j administration experience in production environments • Experience managing enterprise-scale database or data platforms • Strong understanding of graph data modelling and platform architecture • Experience with performance tuning, scaling, and operational support • Python or scripting skills for automation • Familiarity with cloud or hybrid infrastructure environments • Experience with monitoring, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code This is a high-impact platform leadership role owning a strategic Neo4j environment within a global organisation, with responsibility for reliability, scalability, and operational excellence.
