Role description
Texas GovLink, Inc. is an Austin-based firm which has been a premier provider of technical and business professionals to clients in Texas. We are currently seeking an experienced Lead Master Data Management Admin/Developer to be a key resource on a technical services team. Work Location: Onsite. Candidates must be local to Austin, TX • • Responsibilities This role will be part of Texas Health and Human Services (HHSC) Enterprise Data governance (EDG) Group in support of the Enterprise Information Management (EIM) project. The successful candidate will lead the development, architecture, and implementation of data management solutions to improve client data across multiple healthcare systems and enable unified reporting across client domain data. The Lead MDM Admin/Developer will be responsible for overall strategy and highly complex hands-on development work pertaining to the MDM solution including, but not limited to: • Developing, testing, and maintenance of enhancements to MDM application layer(s) • Developing extract/transform/load processes for client's system data into MDM applications • Planning and monitoring MDM project lifecycle deployment • Logical and physical data modeling of the MDM databases • Working closely with EIM data architects, the client subject matter experts, and the client system data models to accurately represent as-is and to-be process models involving the client master data • Operational responsibility for metadata loads • Sprint planning, task breakdown, and coordination Ideal candidate experience/expertise: • Experience with HHSC TIERS • Healthcare experience (in order of priority): • Medicaid • Government Medical • Hospital Systems Qualifications Minimum (Required): 8 years of: • Experience as a Technical Architect leading and managing the architecture, design, implementation, and operation of enterprise-wide data management solutions • Advanced Informatica and ETL developer skills • Experience designing and implementing Master Data Management solutions • Experience designing and implementing Informatica PowerCenter custom solutions • Proficiency in SQL and other databases technologies • Previous experience managing Master Data Management and Data Governance deliverables of functional teams, such as Strategic plans/roadmaps, Frameworks, Technical Design Documents and/or Data Models • Facilitating cross-functional discussions with working groups and identifying, defining, and communicating MDM and Data Governance success factors to technical teams, stakeholders and sponsors • Ability to lead teams and manage complex projects • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience Preferred (Optional): 8 years of: • Informatica MDM Development Healthcare industry experience – Medicaid, Government Medical, or Hospital Systems Overview Texas GovLink offers its family of consultants excellent rates, a local support staff, and an attractive benefits package which includes medical insurance (TGL shares a percentage of the cost), life insurance, a matching 401(k) plan and a cafeteria plan.
