Role description
Responsibilities Kforce has a client in Palm Beach Gardens, FL that is seeking a highly experienced Lead Salesforce Field Service Lightning (FSL) Developer to drive the development and optimization of our field service technology platform within the utilities sector. This role will lead the technical implementation of FSL solutions that support field technicians, asset maintenance, outage response, and customer service operations. The ideal candidate will have deep Salesforce development expertise and a strong understanding of utility field service workflows. Responsibilities: β€’ Architect and lead the development of scalable FSL solutions tailored to utility field operations, including meter installations, inspections, repairs, and emergency response β€’ Collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, and operations teams to translate utility-specific requirements into technical designs β€’ Serve as the technical lead for FSL development projects, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory standards β€’ Configure and customize FSL components such as Work Orders, Service Appointments, Scheduling Policies, and Mobile Flows to support utility use cases β€’ Develop custom logic for crew scheduling, asset tracking, outage management, and mobile workflows using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce APIs β€’ Integrate Salesforce with enterprise systems such as GIS, OMS (Outage Management Systems), and ERP platforms β€’ Establish and maintain development standards, version control, and CI/CD pipelines β€’ Conduct code reviews and ensure performance, security, and scalability of FSL applications β€’ Optimize mobile experiences for field technicians working in remote or offline environments β€’ Partner with field operations, IT, and customer service teams to ensure FSL solutions meet operational needs β€’ Provide mentorship to junior developers and support teams Requirements β€’ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field β€’ 5+ years of Salesforce development experience, with 2+ years focused on Field Service Lightning in a utilities context β€’ Strong proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs β€’ Experience with Salesforce DX, Git, CI/CD tools, and Agile development β€’ Salesforce certifications preferred: FSL Consultant, Platform Developer I/II, Service Cloud Consultant Preferred Skills β€’ Experience with utility-specific systems such as GIS, SCADA, OMS, or AMI β€’ Familiarity with regulatory compliance and safety standards in the utilities industry β€’ Knowledge of asset lifecycle management, crew dispatching, and outage restoration workflows β€’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on operational efficiency The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
