Position: Lead Snowflake Engineer
Location: Dallas, TX - hybrid
Duration: 12 months +
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer (Lead / Sr) to drive engineering excellence within our team. In this role, you will be responsible for defining the technical vision of our invoicing platform, mentoring engineers, and collaborating closely with Product, Finance, and Operations to deliver scalable and reliable solutions. You will balance hands-on development with strategic oversight, ensuring high-quality delivery while fostering team growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and optimization of scalable invoicing systems, including invoice generation and reconciliation processes
Establish and enforce technical standards, architectural principles, and coding best practices
Serve as the primary technical liaison for cross-functional stakeholders across Finance, Product, and Operations
Perform comprehensive code reviews to ensure quality, maintainability, and security
Drive incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
Break down complex requirements into well-defined engineering tasks and delivery milestones
Proactively identify and address technical debt, balancing immediate delivery needs with long-term system sustainability
Required Qualifications:
10+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 2 years in a technical leadership role
Strong expertise in backend system design, preferably within the healthcare domain
Proficiency in SQL, Snowflake, DBT, and Dagster
Solid understanding of relational databases, data modeling, and query performance optimization
Experience with cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines
