Lead User Interface Designer (W2 ONLY)

UI Lead Developer (Frontend) – Hiring Now! We are looking for a Senior UI Lead Developer to drive frontend engineering for a complex, data-heavy enterprise application. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys technical leadership, hands-on development, and close collaboration with UX and architecture teams. Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid) Duration: 6 Months (with possibility of extension) Visa: US Citizens and Green Cards ONLY Job Summary As a UI Lead Developer, you will own end-to-end frontend deliverables, lead feature development, and help shape UI architecture decisions. You’ll work on modern, scalable React applications handling complex data, charts, and enterprise-grade workflows. Must-Have (Non-Negotiable) Skills • React + TypeScript (Advanced) – Hooks, Context API, performance optimization • State Management: Redux Toolkit for complex app state • Material UI (MUI) – including MUI X Data Grid Premium • GraphQL & Apollo Client – queries, mutations, caching strategies • Strong TypeScript – interfaces, generics, strict typing Technical Stack Experience • Build Tools: Vite, modern ES6+ tooling • Authentication: OAuth2 / Azure MSAL • API Integration: REST & GraphQL (AWS AppSync exposure is a plus) • Data Visualization: Highcharts or Plotly (scientific/engineering charts) • Geospatial Libraries: ArcGIS or similar (desirable) • Styling: SASS/SCSS, CSS-in-JS (Emotion) Testing & Quality • E2E Testing: Playwright (or Cypress/Selenium) • Unit Testing: Vitest, Jest, React Testing Library • Test Automation: Maintainable, scalable test suites • Code Quality: ESLint, Prettier, Git workflows 📩 Interested?
