About Priori
At Priori, weβre reimagining legal work for todayβs market, connecting top legal talent with leading in-house teams through our flexible, vetted network.
The Priori Talent Marketplace, which includes both Flexible Talent and Law Firms, helps legal departments find the right legal professionals at the right price for any need. Our network of 8,000+ attorneys supports short-term engagements, leave coverage, overflow work, and specialized projects, as well as traditional law firm support such as local counsel in all 50 states, 70+ countries, and niche areas of expertise.
Attorneys on our platform work on high-impact projects with Fortune 500 companies, high-growth startups, and global organizations, and retain control over when, how, and where they work.
About the Opportunity
A Biotech Research Company is looking for a Legal Application Developer with 5+ years' experience for a 6-12 month engagement starting as soon as possible.
This role is at the intersection of legal process expertise and technical execution.
Core Responsibilities:
β’ Airtable & Workflow Development: Design, build, and maintain scalable workflow and data management solutions, primarily leveraging Airtable and related automation platforms.
β’ Airtable Analysis & Optimization: Actively analyze and audit existing Airtable bases to optimize structure, refine data linking, and maximize overall system efficiency to support dynamic legal workflows.
β’ Fact Investigation & Solution Scoping: Lead discovery sessions to uncover the "why" behind the "what" and map out user pain points. Utilizing a consultative approach, you will partner with internal legal staff to conduct thorough fact investigations, scoping out robust and scalable technical requirements before building solutions.
β’ Automation & API Management: Design and implement a connected ecosystem by setting up and managing custom RESTful APIs. You will develop scalable automation scripts and workflows (using tools like Make.com, Zapier, Python, or JavaScript) to connect Airtable with the broader enterprise tech stack, ensuring seamless data synchronization and workflow handoffs.
β’ AI Integration: Move beyond simple triggers by incorporating intelligent automation, such as LLM integrations, to automate decision-making, content generation, and intelligent intake within our workflow processes.
Experience:
β’ Relevant experience designing and implementing workflow automation and legal technology solutions in complex environments.
β’ Technical Literacy:
β’ Strong technical understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and relational database logic to build secure, cross-platform integrations.
β’ Proficiency in scripting languages (such as JavaScript specifically for Airtable Scripting/custom blocks, or Python) to build out data pipelines and automations.
β’ Familiarity with complex data collection, cleaning, mapping, and transformation techniques.
