Role description
Title: Level 3 IS Analyst Location: Delray Beach, FL – 5 days onsite Duration: 3 month Contract to Hire. Interview Mode : 2 Step Interview process (1st round is virtual 2nd round is On-site multi- panel) Job Description : The Information Systems Analyst acts as a liaison between business operations and technology teams, integrating application systems to meet business needs. The analyst will leverage expertise in systems and reporting, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, to ensure operational efficiency and data integrity. Essential Duties & Responsibilities • Provide user support for business and accounting application systems. • Develop custom systematic and ad-hoc reports upon request for operations, accounting, and management. • Maintain integrity and controls of application systems and identify potential weaknesses. • Provide processing support for recurring activities (setups, uploads, periodic processes, etc.). • Develop and maintain resource tools, databases, and templates for business reporting. • Ensure smooth system integration across different functions. • Research, troubleshoot, and resolve data discrepancies or inconsistencies. General Responsibilities • Write SQL ad hoc queries for reporting needs. • Build VBA programs for Microsoft Access and Excel. • Work within SQL Server and Access databases. • Perform data analysis and assess database infrastructure. • Create and maintain management dashboards using Business Intelligence software. • Strong background in SQL and reporting with Excel and BI visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.). Qualifications • Excellent analytical and reporting skills. • Strong computer and problem-solving abilities. • Advanced Excel skills, including pivots, formulas, and ODBC SQL queries. • Ability to create and maintain report designs in Access and/or SSRS. • Knowledge of GAAP accounting principles. • Strong organizational skills, detail orientation, and accuracy. • Ability to multitask and provide timely customer support. • Experience with Business Intelligence/Data Visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.). Education & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in a related field. • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
