LexisNexis FircoSoft Engineer - Real-Time Screening (v6.12.3) Charlotte, NC (Hybrid) 12+ month contract JPC - 20352 Solugenix is assisting a client in their search for a LexisNexis FircoSoft Engineer – Real-Time Screening (v6.12.3). This is a 12+ month contract opportunity based in Charlotte, NC (Hybrid). We are looking for an experienced LexisNexis FircoSoft Engineer (version 6.12.3) with strong expertise in real-time screening environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience configuring, implementing, and supporting FircoSoft solutions in regulated industries such as Banking and Financial services, Insurance. Experience or exposure to Apache Kafka or event-driven architecture is highly desirable to support modern integration and real-time streaming use cases. Qualifications: Core FircoSoft Expertise • Hands-on experience with LexisNexis FircoSoft (v6.12.3 preferred or similar versions). • Strong experience with: • Firco Continuity / Firco Trust configuration • AML / Sanctions / PEP screening logic • Rule tuning and alert Technical Skills: • Strong experience in cloud platform-AWS. • Proficiency in SQL / Oracle / relational databases. • Knowledge of real-time processing systems and messaging frameworks. • Familiarity with APIs, batch and real-time integrations. • Scripting skills (Shell / Python) for automation. Desired / Preferred Skills: • Experience with Apache Kafka (producers, consumers, topics, streaming). • Exposure to event-driven and microservices architectures. • Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines. • Understanding of monitoring and observability tools. Responsibilities: FircoSoft Platform Implementation • Design, develop, and support FircoSoft (v6.12.3) solutions for real-time AML and sanctions screening. • Configure and manage FircoSoft modules such as: • Firco Continuity • Firco Trust • Firco Compliance Link (FCL) • Customize screening rules, filters, and matching algorithms based on business requirements. • Conduct tuning and optimization to enhance screening accuracy and reduce false positives. Real-Time Integration & Processing • Build and support real-time interfaces between FircoSoft and upstream/downstream systems. • Handle message formats such as SWIFT, XML, ISO 20022, or equivalent. • Ensure high-availability and low-latency processing for transaction/message screening systems. Kafka & Event-Driven Architecture (Desired) • Support integration of FircoSoft with Apache Kafka or similar streaming platforms. • Contribute to event-driven architecture for real-time screening pipelines. • Enable scalable data ingestion and processing through Kafka-based workflows Pay Range for CA, CO, IL, NJ, NY, WA, and DC: $90/hour to $125/hour. Starting rate of pay offered may vary depending on factors including but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training and/or experience.
