LIMS Developer

Role: LIMS Developer Work location: Albany, 5 day a week at client location 6+ months Job Description: "Required Qualifications • 8-10 years of experience in LabWare LIMS/ELN/LES implementations. • Experience in scripting and LabWare integrations (e.g., MES, Maximo, Empower). • Proven experience in master data creation, harmonization, and deployment. • Strong Knowledge of The Labware Method Execution (MethEx) module • Strong understanding of data governance, version control, and validation protocols. • Familiarity with regulatory compliance and GxP environments. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ Preferred Qualifications • Experience with LabWare integrations (e.g., MES, Maximo, Empower). • Knowledge of global deployment strategies and site-specific configurations. • Background in pharmaceutical or life sciences domain. \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ Key Responsibilities Master Data Development & Verification • Develop and document methodologies for verifying master data including Analyses, Products, Item Codes, Locations, Instruments, and Sample Plans • Assist local site teams in master data verification and validation activities. • Support UAT, Integration Testing, Regression Testing, and IQ/OQ validation Data Management & Promotion • Implement version control and change management strategies using LabWare’s OOB configuration packages • Facilitate migration of master data between environments and provide training to users involved in data promotion. • Define access controls and permissions for master data in collaboration with the Solutions Development Services Team Standardization & Harmonization • Establish naming conventions and optimal configurations for test methods. • Create and maintain a library of test methods categorized by type to ensure consistency • Harmonize master data across global sites and develop system standards and strategies Documentation & Support • Author and maintain MDM documentation, SOPs, and configuration specifications. • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for master data-related issues Help with Method Execution User-Centric Training of MethX Module: A customized training solution has been developed to address user understanding and reduce errors during method execution, the MDM developer should be able to tailor and create the end user training documents for customer to improve user engagement and confidence in navigating complex processes within the laboratory environment."
