Liquibase - Data Base Chain Management (SME)

Responsibilities: • Serve as the go-to expert on Liquibase for all database deployment activities. • Design, develop, and maintain Liquibase changelogs for SQL Server environments. • Lead and implement automated database deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools. • Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless database versioning and releases. • Participate in the conversion projects involving database migrations or upgrades. • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members on Liquibase best practices. • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Liquibase deployment processes. • Maintain comprehensive documentation of deployment procedures, configurations, and best practices. Requirements: • Proven experience working on large SQL Server projects utilizing Liquibase for automated deployments. • Extensive hands-on knowledge of Liquibase, with a thorough understanding of its architecture, features, and best practices. • Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines, specifically integrating Liquibase with tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar. • Proficiency in version control systems, especially Git. • Experience in database conversion and migration projects is a strong plus. • Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, etc.) are desirable. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team. Preferred Qualifications: • Prior experience working on large enterprise-scale SQL Server implementations. • Knowledge of other database technologies is a plus. • Certification or formal training in Liquibase or DevOps practices.
