About the Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced Machine Learning Engineer to join our agile team, where you'll play a key role in designing and deploying scalable ML solutions. Your expertise will drive the development of innovative machine learning applications that directly impact business outcomes. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll use advanced ML techniques and tools to solve real-world problems. This role also provides opportunities to guide and mentor fellow engineers while continuously expanding your own technical skillset.
What Youβll Be Doing:
Enhance and iterate on ML models used in high-impact personalization and recommendation systems.
Optimize model performance by evaluating existing algorithms, fine-tuning model blending strategies, and increasing inference efficiency.
Analyze offline and online evaluation metrics, identifying correlations and performance indicators.
Use A/B testing and subgroup analysis to uncover actionable insights that drive key performance improvements.
Improve model interpretability and support cross-functional stakeholders with explainable ML outcomes.
Collaborate with data scientists, backend engineers, and other ML engineers across multiple teams.
What You Bring:Required Skills:
3+ years of hands-on experience in machine learning or data science (excluding R&D or research group experience).
Strong programming proficiency with Python or Scala (5+ years).
Expertise in ML frameworks such as TensorFlow and PySpark (5+ years).
At least 1 year of experience working with Databricks, MLflow, or Seldon.
Preferred Skills:
Demonstrated success in building and launching ML products at scale.
Solid background in recommendation systems and algorithm development.
Familiarity with modern MLOps tools: Snowflake, Kubeflow, Tecton, Jenkins.
Experience with cloud platforms like AWS and using feature stores or ML monitoring tools.
Ability to analyze massive datasets and turn them into meaningful insights.
Knowledge of A/B testing methodologies, causality analysis, and ML experimentation best practices.
Advanced degree (Masterβs or Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
