Machine Learning Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer, this is a contract role with a client in Irving, TX (Hybrid). We’re ideally looking for an applicant with 5+ years' experience in Machine Learning and expertise in Python. Pay Range: $67-$70/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Responsibilities: • Python - Advanced proficiency (self-rated 8-9 out of 10), with practical experience using libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, PySpark, and Scikit-learn. • SQL - Strong ability to write complex queries and optimize for performance. • Hands-on involvement in large-scale development projects, particularly those with highly modularized codebases. • Proficient in Git and collaborative development workflows. • Work Experience - 1-2 years of professional experience with great learning attitude would work. • Machine Learning Knowledge - Familiarity with widely used algorithms such as Gradient Boosting, Random Forest, Time Series models, and Deep Learning techniques.
