β’ 5+ years of professional experience as an AI/ML engineer, with demonstrated expertise in healthcare NLP and data extraction.
β’ Proficiency with Azure Cognitive Services, Databricks, SQL Server, and deployment of LLMs (open-weight, Databricks foundation, API-driven models).
β’ Hands-on experience with Python and NLP frameworks such as spaCy, Hugging Face, and NLTK; experience with third-party pre-trained NLP libraries.
β’ Proven ability to extract data from high-volume, unstructured healthcare documents and translate medical terminology into structured data.
β’ Strong record of deploying and monitoring models in production environments, with attention to performance, quality, and compliance.
β’ Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially in working with clinical staff and business stakeholders.
β’ Clinical EHR data experience, model fine-tuning, and prompt engineering expertise.
β’ Experience with Claude API implementation and healthcare regulatory compliance (HIPAA, etc.) is a plus.
β’ Ability to handle the entire AI solution lifecycle, from model development to deployment and human-in-the-loop review.
