Role description
Management Information Reporting Analyst - Senior/Lead (Edinburgh based)
As an MI Reporting Analyst Lead, you will join a high-performing, best-in-class Hudson Talent Solutions team based in our Edinburgh Hub. Your main responsibility will be to understand and analyze the recruitment processes to enable proficient information management. Reporting support will primarily involve distributing and maintaining existing reports, including dashboards and analyses, which will enhance decision-making in Talent Acquisition teams and client Human Resources functions. End-user training and collaboration with other members of the reporting team will be an important part of this role. Please note that the work arrangement is flexible - hybrid/remote.
What you’ll do:
• Support the migration of the Hudson Talent reporting suite to the client’s new HR system.
• Produce and maintain Hudson Talent reporting in accordance with agreed client obligations and reporting calendar.
• Scope and produce ad-hoc reports as required.
• Provide data analysis and insights to support reporting deliverables.
• Identify process improvements to streamline data collection and operational reporting.
• Maintain reporting databases to support operational reporting.
• Manage the BAU portfolio and facilitate the transfer to automation.
• Interact with and manage internal and external stakeholders effectively.
• Represent the reporting stream during new implementations.
• Coordinate and build strong relationships across internal teams.
• Utilize Power BI to create reports independently.
You’ll be someone who can bring:
• At least 3–5 years of reporting experience, with a proven track record in producing and maintaining reports in accordance with client obligations and reporting calendars.
• Good operational experience and knowledge of HR processes and systems, specifically recruiting ATSs such as Workday, Avature, and PageUp, to effectively support the migration of reporting suites and facilitate process improvements.
• Strong relationship and communication skills across multiple countries and cultures, enabling you to interact with and manage internal stakeholders and coordinate with diverse client bases.
• Technical experience in Excel and Access, including Power Pivot, VBA, Power Query and Microsoft SQL, to provide data analysis and insights that support reporting deliverables.
• Familiarity with commercial reporting systems such as Tableau, Power BI, SSRS, OBIEE, or Business Objects, which will aid in building strong reporting capabilities and automating BAU processes.
