Job Summary The Manager, Provider Data Management is primarily responsible for or overseeing the daily operations related to the management, integrity, and distribution of provider data across the organization. This role leads the development and maintenance of a centralized provider data repository, ensuring accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and reliable data outputs to support internal systems, health plan requirements, and organizational decision-making. Lead the development and management of a centralized provider data management system housed on an SQL server, ensuring accurate data integration and output across internal systems and data sources
Oversee the team responsible for the timely production and distribution of provider data outputs, including provider directories, website listings, monthly rosters, web search tools, sales directories, Quest database updates, online affiliate directories, and health plan roster submissions
Maintain a single source of truth for provider data, implementing ongoing quality assurance and validation processes to ensure accuracy and data integrity
Monitor network adequacy requirements using Quest software and support compliance with health plan standards
Develop, implement, and update departmental policies, procedures, and reporting related to provider data management and health plan data analysis
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, System Support, Marketing, Health Plan Operations, and Contracting to support provider data needs, maintain contracting profiles, and improve data processes
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Proficiency in SQL Server or equivalent database platforms for storing and querying data
Experience leading or supervising teams within a managed care or healthcare setting
Hands-on experience in managing provider data and ensuring data accuracy across complex systems
Familiarity with EPIC or comparable electronic health record systems
Experience collaborating with physicians and other clinical staff to maintain up-to-date provider information
Highly Preferred
Large corporation experience
Health plan / managed care / healthcare industry experience
