This is a contract role and our Client is seeking a strong Marketing Analyst.
Priority will be given to:
1. Candidates who are available to work on-site in the office
1. Work hybrid with 2-3 days in the office
1. Remote workers as long as they are well qualified
Qualifications
β’ 3β5+ years of experience in eCommerce, marketing analytics, or retail media analytics
β’ Strong understanding of Amazon and or Walmart advertising ecosystem
β’ Proficiency in:
β’ Excel (advanced)
β’ Data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
β’ SQL (preferred)
What Youβll Do
Drive Media Performance
Analyze performance across paid media channels including Sponsored Ads, DSP, and video
Monitor key metrics like ROAS, CPC, CTR, conversion rate, and share of voice
Identify whatβs working, whatβs not, and where to optimize campaigns
Turn Data Into Strategy
Translate campaign and audience data into actionable recommendations
Support marketing teams with insights that guide day-to-day optimizations
Lead analysis for major events like Prime Day and Cyber Week
Own Full-Funnel Measurement
Connect upper-funnel media to downstream impact on traffic, conversion, and sales
Evaluate incrementality and true performance impact using data and trend analysis
Understand the Customer
Analyze customer journeys and path-to-purchase behavior
Develop audience insights to improve targeting, reach, and conversion
Bridge Media + Retail Performance
Tie media results to pricing, promotions, inventory, and product performance
Understand how paid media influences total business outcomes, not just attributed sales
Track the Market
Monitor competitor activity, keyword trends, and category dynamics
Identify growth opportunities and inform investment decisions
Build Reporting & Insights
Create dashboards and scalable reporting across media and retail performance
Ensure data consistency across platforms like Amazon, Pacvue, Profitero, and Stackline
Deliver clear insights tailored to stakeholders
Support Planning & Forecasting
Use historical data to guide campaign planning and budget allocation
Analyze performance after key events and recommend improvements
