Marketing Data Analyst

Salary: $57.00 to $66.00 hourly Description Our client is seeking a highly analytical and strategic thinker to join their growing team, supporting cross-functional business areas including marketing, operations, and pricing. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a consultative approach, and the ability to solve complex problems through data-driven insights. This role requires excellent communication and storytelling abilities to translate analytical findings into actionable business strategies. Key Responsibilities • Analyze diverse business problems spanning marketing, operations, and pricing using data analytics and modeling • Develop and validate SQL queries and Python scripts to extract, manipulate, and analyze data efficiently • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand problem context, define requirements, and align on solution frameworks • Present insights and recommendations clearly to senior management and cross-functional teams, ensuring a consultative approach • Utilize tools such as Snowflake, Tableau, and advanced Excel for data analysis and visualization • Contribute to continuous improvement of analytical processes and frameworks across the team Requirements Required Skills & Qualifications • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a quantitative field (Economics, Computer Science, Marketing Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, etc.) • Extensive experience in data analytics and statistic modeling • Strong proficiency in Python, Tableau, & SQL for data manipulation and analysis • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau) and advanced Excel skills • Solid understanding of statistical concepts and ability to apply them in business contexts • Excellent problem-solving skills and a consultative mindset • Strong communication and storytelling skills to effectively translate data into business insights • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment Preferred Qualifications • Prior experience in marketing analytics, pricing, or operations is a plus • Experience working with marketing data platforms (e.g., Adobe Analytics). • Prior experience in strategy or consulting is a plus Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
