Role description
We’re supporting our client in Tysons Corner, VA to hire an Analyst who will focus on evaluating marketing performance, ROI, and campaign effectiveness. This is not a traditional reporting role—it’s a hybrid position ideal for someone who can not only work with data, but also apply business judgment to recommend clear actions and strategy.
Position Summary
Our client is seeking an early-career Analyst to join the Marketing Analytics team. This person will dig into marketing campaign performance, customer engagement, and ROI of marketing strategies. They will then synthesize their findings into recommendations—helping leadership determine whether initiatives should move forward, be adjusted, or retired.
What Makes This Role Unique
• You won’t just deliver reports—you’ll interpret data and advise leadership on the “so what”.
• You’ll evaluate campaign effectiveness, weighing ROI and business impact, and recommend whether to scale, pause, or stop.
• You’ll partner with marketing and business leaders, ensuring strategy is rooted in data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities
• Query and analyze data (primarily from Snowflake) to evaluate marketing campaigns and initiatives.
• Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities in campaign performance.
• Assess ROI of campaigns and provide recommendations (continue, adjust, or discontinue).
• Translate data findings into clear business recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
• Contribute to ongoing marketing strategy by connecting data insights to business objectives.
Ideal Candidate Profile
• 2–3 years of experience in an Analyst or Marketing Analytics role.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake or similar SQL/data warehouse tools.
• Strong communication skills—able to explain complex findings in a clear, business-focused way.
• Critical thinker who can balance quantitative findings with qualitative business judgment.
• Experience in marketing campaign analysis or financial services marketing is a plus.
