Responsibilities
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Marketing Data Engineer in Grand Rapids, MI. Duties Include:
β’ Designs, codes, tests, and implements data movement pipelines, dashboarding and analytical assets; develops system documentation according to SAFe Agile principles and industry standards
β’ Design and hands-on development on either vendor or internal applications and interfaces including Azure - Data Factory, Log Analytics, Databricks, Synapse, Power BI, ADLS Gen2, GCP Cloud storage and Big Query
β’ Assist in configuration and administration of marketing platforms (Google Marketing platform, Salesforce MCI, The Trade Desk, etc., ADvendio) that the team supports
β’ Build data ingestion into and out of the above listed marketing platforms
β’ Gathers and implements functional and non-functional requirements including performance monitoring, alerting and code management and ensuring alignment with technology best practices and SLAs
β’ Partnering with all areas of the business to gather requirements for Data and Analytics and designing solutions
β’ Participate in agile ceremonies and follow agile cadence to build, test, and deliver solutions
β’ Driving engagement with ITS Security and Infrastructure teams to ensure secure development and deployment of solutions
β’ Interfaces with the Product Manager and IT partners at the Program level and within other Release Trains to define and estimate features for agile teams
Requirements
β’ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Business Information Systems, Engineering or related discipline or equivalent work experience and technical training is required
β’ Any SAFe certification or training
β’ 6+ years industry experience (business application design, development, implementation, and/or solution architecture)
β’ Understanding of architecture practices and execution for large projects/programs
β’ Experience building and designing data and analytics solutions on enterprise solutions such as Azure - Data Factory, Log Analytics, Databricks, Synapse, Power BI, ADLS Gen2
β’ Experience designing data pipelines, ingestion, storage, prep-train, model and serve using above technologies, Automating Azure Workloads, Data quality, Governance/standards, Security and legal compliance in the Azure architecture
β’ Working knowledge of these tools preferred - Google Marketing platform, Salesforce MCI, The Trade Desk etc., ADvendio
β’ Experience with Marketing domain data ingestion and analytics a must
β’ Previous experience in Power BI, Data Modeling, Data Classification and zones, data movement, Data architecture and reporting
β’ Preferred knowledge and experience on Python and API architecture in Azure
β’ Experience with multiple, diverse technical configurations, technologies, and processing environments
β’ Excellent written and oral communications skills
β’ Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
