Role description

By building the last-mile logistics infrastructure for local commerce, they’re fulfilling our mission to grow and empower local economies. Our Customer is seeking a Marketplace Operations Data Analyst on a contract basis to effectively onboard merchants, fulfill every order with speed & accuracy, and improve their logistics network. This role is 100% remote. This role sits on the Photos pod within the Catalog team and supports the Photos Manager in scaling the photoshoot program. The position focuses on operational execution, data-driven planning, and process automation to improve catalog photo coverage and efficiency. Responsibilities • Communicate with Account Managers, Merchants, and Vendors to coordinate and schedule photoshoots • Analyze inventory data to create photo shoot shot lists based on item availability across store locations • Manage day-of logistics and real-time communication with photographers and Merchants • Leverage AI tools and software to support photo processing and cataloging within internal systems • Upload finalized photos to the customer-facing catalog • Use SQL to analyze inventory, sales, and item view data to prioritize photoshoots • Identify preferred store locations based on inventory levels and operational efficiency • Develop and automate photoshoot workflows using tools such as SQL, Cursor, and Google Scripts • Build dashboards and tracking systems to measure photoshoot performance • Create and maintain operational playbooks documenting processes, best practices, and lessons learned Skills And Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree completed • 2+ years of experience in operations, project management, customer success, consulting, strategy, tech, banking, startups, or similar high-performance environments • Strong SQL skills with experience querying across multiple datasets • Experience with data visualization or dashboarding tools • Strong operational mindset with the ability to build and scale processes • Strong cross-functional communication skills • Analytical and data-driven decision-making • Process-oriented with an automation mindset • Strong organizational and project management skills • Ability to manage logistics and real-time coordination • Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth environments We offer a competitive salary range for this position.
