Job Title: Master Data AnalystJob Description
The Master Data Analyst is responsible for maintaining, creating, updating, and deleting global master data, specifically the Material Master Standard Costs across multiple applications. This role supports functional groups and organizations across the Diagnostic Divisions, including corporate functional teams.
Responsibilities
• Receive information from multiple sources to initiate the creation of a Material record into various applications.
• Coordinate with subject matter experts across commercial and manufacturing sites to provide timely updates to team members.
• Investigate and analyze requests to understand potential downstream implications to all applications.
• Adhere to divisional and departmental governance rules when maintaining and editing master data.
• Continuously maintain the team's standard operating procedures based on business and regulatory changes to achieve best-in-class master data.
• Communicate professionally and thoroughly with colleagues, including senior leadership, on master data-related issues.
• Assist in the deployment of software/technology to ensure seamless integration and onboarding for large groups and organizations.
• Identify and appropriately prioritize incoming demands.
• Demonstrate adaptability and teamwork in the dynamic environment of master data.
• Perform data maintenance tasks, including creating, updating, and deleting master data records to ensure accuracy and consistency across multiple applications.
Essential Skills
• Proficiency in SAP and Excel.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in master data management.
• Experience working in a dynamic environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Associates Degree or equivalent experience of 13 years.
• Background in quality assurance and data entry.
Work Environment
The role requires adaptability and teamwork due to the dynamic nature of master data. The work involves collaborating with various functional groups and organizations, utilizing technologies like SAP and Excel.
