Hi, Akkodis is seeking an SAP Master Data analyst for our Contract position with a client. It is for Scarborough, ME location. Position: SAP Master Data analyst Location: Scarborough, ME 04074 (Onsite) Duration: 8+ Months Pay Range: $38/hr - $40/hour without benefits (Pay rate varies based on experience) Job Description: Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Master Data Analyst to manage and maintain global master data across multiple enterprise systems. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of master data such as Material Master and Standard Cost data that supports business operations across commercial, manufacturing, and corporate teams within the Diagnostics division. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with SAP master data, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities • Create, update, and maintain Material Master and Standard Cost data across multiple enterprise applications. • Receive and process data requests from various internal teams to initiate creation of new material records. • Collaborate with subject matter experts across manufacturing and commercial teams to ensure data accuracy and timely updates. • Investigate data requests and analyze potential downstream impacts across systems and business processes. • Ensure compliance with data governance standards and departmental policies when maintaining master data. • Maintain and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to master data management. • Provide clear and timely communication to internal stakeholders, including senior leadership, regarding master data updates and issues. • Support system implementations and technology deployments to ensure smooth integration and onboarding. • Prioritize and manage multiple incoming requests while maintaining data accuracy and quality. Required Qualifications • Minimum 8 years of experience in Master Data Management or a related data management role. • Strong experience working with SAP, particularly Material Master data. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. • Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment handling multiple priorities. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Preferred Background • Experience working within manufacturing, diagnostics, or life sciences industries. • Knowledge of data governance and master data management best practices.
