Current advancements are underway in autonomous movement and mobility, artificial intelligence and machine learning, manipulation, simulation, robotic management software, predictive analytics, and much more. • If you are inspired by solving complex supply chain challenges and have a passion for driving operational excellence through process improvements and automation. • We are seeking an experienced Production Planner to optimize production planning, lead strategic initiatives, and partner across the organization to delight our customers. • At the core of the Production Planner role is driving end-to-end planning excellence through the strategic implementation of advanced supply chain planning technology and optimized workflows. • This leader serves as a subject matter expert, guiding the technical transition from legacy systems to a modern, integrated planning platform. • They will oversee the execution of critical planning processes, including finite production scheduling, material requirements planning, capacity planning, and inventory optimization. • The Production Planner partners cross-functionally to streamline planning processes, eliminate manual tasks, and enhance planning capabilities to improve customer service, reduce costs, and optimize working capital. • They will leverage data, analytics, and automation to generate more realistic and achievable plans that align with the company's strategic objectives. Core Responsibilities • Develop and maintain the finite production schedule and material requirements plan based on forecasted demand, inventory levels, and production capacity • Collaborate with manufacturing, procurement, and logistics to ensure supply plans are feasible and executable • Manage inventory levels and replenishment strategies to optimize working capital while maintaining target service levels • Participate in the S&OP process to align supply plans with demand forecasts and business objectives • Identify and resolve supply-demand gaps through scenario planning and adjustments to supply parameters • Communicate supply-related risks, constraints, and mitigation plans to key stakeholders • Leverage planning systems, data, and analytics to generate optimized supply plans • Monitor supply plan performance against KPIs such as schedule adherence, inventory turns, and supplier delivery • Identify opportunities to improve supply planning processes, tools, and data quality • Work cross-functionally to drive alignment between various teams and communicate changes • Participate in new product introduction projects to incorporate supply planning requirements Group Story Behind the Need Business Group & Key Projects: • The team owns manufacturing planning for Robotics Manufacturing. • This entails all of the production scheduling, capacity planning, production control, inventory management, and warehousing operations. • This role will specifically support production control which will support the manufacturing floor that builds robotics for their FC network. Supporting the NPI programs that are building new robots. • Someone that has lean manufacturing background. • Has material management in a manufacturing environment is what the HM would be looking for. Typical Day In The Role Interaction with team/Day to Day: • Manufacturing operations team, HM Team, and supply chain Training/ Ramp- Up • Looking for someone who has good foundation knowledge in supply chain management in manufacturing. • 2 weeks expected to work on their own program assigned independently with HM providing a weekly to multiple times a week over site in terms of what they are doing but are expected to start contribution within 2 weeks of shadowing. Leadership Principles • Functional Competency for Production Planning • Deliver Results • Dive deep Candidate Requirements Required Qualifications: • 1+ years of experience in production planning, supply chain, or a related field • Deep understanding of advanced planning strategies and replenishment processes • Excellent problem-solving and process improvement skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical solutions • Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams • Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional projects • Proficient in supply chain management tools and technologies • Proficient in SQL and data visualization to drive key insights (Tableau, Power BI) • Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma process improvement methodologies • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering, or a related technical field Preferred Qualifications • Certified Kinaxis Author or Advanced User certification • Experience with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies and process optimization • APICS CPIM or CSCP certification • Knowledge of emerging technologies in the supply chain and logistics space (e.g. IoT, machine learning) • Master's degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering, or a related technical discipline Top 3 Must-have Hard Skills • Lean Manufacturing Experience • Understanding Production Scheduling Concepts • End to end supply knowledge for replenishment planning TekWissen® Group is an equal opportunity employer supporting workforce diversity.
