Role Overview
β’ Location: Telecommute with up to 25% travel to Springfield, IL.
β’ Focus: Support large Medicaid data warehouse implementation and operations, guide business and technical teams, and ensure compliance with Medicaid best practices.
Primary Responsibilities
β’ Provide guidance for Medicaid data warehouse decisions.
β’ Lead stakeholders on complex Medicaid processes (claims, eligibility, third-party liability).
β’ Identify state Medicaid agency data needs and recommend solutions.
β’ Direct technical/business teams on healthcare data usage.
β’ Suggest enhancements based on Medicaid standards.
β’ Partner with stakeholders to develop tools (interfaces, dashboards, visualizations).
β’ Deliver analytics and critical reports to external clients.
Required Qualifications
β’ Experience:
β’ 4+ years working directly with State Medicaid agencies.
β’ 7+ years in healthcare data analysis (requirements, UAT, etc.).
β’ 2+ years on projects like CMS Federal Reporting, quality measures, claims processing, eligibility, provider enrollment, third-party liability.
β’ Knowledge: Fee-for-service and managed care claim/encounter adjudication.
β’ Skills: Strong communication, client-facing, collaboration, mentoring.
β’ Travel: Up to 25% to Springfield, IL.
Preferred Qualifications
β’ SQL proficiency.
β’ Experience with Teradata or similar DBMS.
β’ Familiarity with JIRA, Rally, DevOps.
β’ Large implementation project experience.
