Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Medicare Advantage Analytics Consultant to join our team for a 3-month contract. This individual will play a key role in defining, structuring, and analyzing Medicare Advantage data. The ideal candidate will not only be a "doer," but a forward-thinking professional who can independently assess needs and propose and deliver effective solutions. You will be responsible for designing, developing dashboards, defining key metrics, and structuring data to drive success in the Medicare Advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Lead the design and implementation of Medicare Advantage analytics, including the creation of actionable dashboards and performance metrics.
β’ Structure and organize data in a way that provides clear insights for strategic decision-making.
β’ Use the experience in MA to quickly identify key performance indicators and reporting requirements.
β’ Provide thought leadership and propose improvements to existing analytics processes and methodologies.
β’ Offer recommendations for enhancing reporting infrastructure, ensuring all data and metrics are aligned to give real-time insights into MA line of business
β’ Utilize expertise from previous experience in MA to bring innovative and proven practices into the organization.
β’ Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to present findings and recommendations clearly to business leaders and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
β’ Proven experience in Medicare Advantage analytics, with experience at CMS, Humana, United Healthcare, or Optum.
β’ Strong proficiency in data analysis, dashboard creation, and reporting tools
β’ Medicare Advantage business knowledge
β’ Medicare Advantage success KPI analytics for CEO/CFO
β’ Medicare Advantage data knowledge
β’ Telling story with data and analytics
β’ SQL
β’ Power BI
β’ Databricks
β’ Ability to structure and model data for effective reporting and analysis.
β’ Strong communication skills to present complex analytics in a clear, actionable format to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
β’ Self-starter with the ability to work independently and propose strategic solutions.
β’ Experience with healthcare data, particularly in the Medicare Advantage space, is a must-have
β’ Prior contract or consulting experience is a plus.
Contract Duration: 3 months (with potential for extension)
Compensation: Competitive, based on experience
