Merchandise Data Analyst

Job Title: Merchandise Data Analyst – Relex (Contractor) Location: Newark, NJ (Hybrid/Remote flexibility depending on project needs) Employment Type: Contract About the Role We’re seeking a Merchandise Data Analyst Contractor (Relex) to join our Planning team and play a critical role in supporting the Relex end-to-end planning system implementation. This role is essential for ensuring master data accuracy, enabling successful forecasting, replenishment, and allocation processes as we prepare for a 2026 go-live. If you’re detail-oriented, love working with data, and have experience in retail planning or replenishment, this is your chance to contribute to a high-impact global project. What You’ll Do • Conduct merchandise categorization and system data clean-up initiatives. • Manage hierarchy, assortment, and status clean-up across multiple systems (Fusion, Brand Manager, SAP). • Define and document ongoing processes for item listing maintenance. • Partner cross-functionally with VM, Supply, Commercial, and Vendor Liaison teams to align on lead times, MOQ, and transportation requirements. • Ensure accurate master data mapping to unlock the full potential of the Relex planning platform. What We’re Looking For • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Supply Chain, or related field. • Experience in retail replenishment, allocation, or planning is required. • Strong Excel skills and proficiency in MS Office Suite. • Experience with SAP, WMS, or planning systems (Relex experience preferred). • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work independently. • Strong written and verbal communication skills with cross-functional teams.
