Role description
Piper Companies is seeking a MES Consultant (DeltaV MES) to join a growing leader in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology space for a 6+ month contracted, onsite position located in Holly Springs, NC. The MES Consultant (DeltaV MES) will support the design, implementation, and testing of a DeltaV MES (Syncade) solution to enable integrated, paperless manufacturing across a large-scale pharmaceutical production facility.
Responsibilities of the MES Consultant (DeltaV MES) include:
β’ Design and support implementation of a DeltaV MES (Syncade) solution for a highly integrated, paperless manufacturing environment.
β’ Participate in cross-functional project meetings and collaborate with internal automation, validation, QA, and engineering teams.
β’ Review and contribute to system documentation including User Requirements Specifications (URS), Process Requirement Specifications (PRS), and design lifecycle materials.
β’ Translate system and functional requirements into comprehensive test protocols and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
β’ Assist with infrastructure setup, recipe configuration, software installation, and debugging within the MES platform.
Qualifications for the MES Consultant (DeltaV MES) include:
β’ Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with Emerson DeltaV MES (Syncade).
β’ Proven ability to troubleshoot MES behavior, migrate solution components, and support configuration activities.
β’ Familiarity with regulated environments, including cGMP, 21 CFR Part 11, GAMP5, S88, and ISA 95 standards.
β’ Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Windows Event Viewer, and scripting or query languages such as VBScript, XML, and SQL is a plus.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in a relevant technical field such as Engineering, Computer Science, or Life Sciences.
Compensation for the MES Consultant (DeltaV MES):
β’ Salary Range: $155,000-$165,000/year(USD)
