Role description
Our client is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to support enterprise data initiatives within a healthcare environment. This role will focus heavily on data management, data governance, metadata, cataloging, and reporting, serving as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure data quality, compliance, and usability across the organization. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, hands-on SQL experience, and familiarity with healthcare data ecosystems. Details Location: Philadelphia, PA (Hybrid Work Model) Duration: 10-month contract Key Responsibilities β€’ Support data management and data governance initiatives, ensuring alignment with established governance frameworks β€’ Manage and maintain data catalogs, metadata, and documentation to improve data discoverability and usability β€’ Partner with business and technical teams as a metadata and reporting liaison β€’ Develop, validate, and maintain reports and datasets to support operational and analytical needs β€’ Perform data quality analysis and remediation, leveraging tools such as Experian or Collibra β€’ Execute SQL queries to analyze, validate, and troubleshoot data β€’ Ensure adherence to healthcare data standards, privacy, and compliance requirements β€’ Contribute to continuous improvement of data processes and best practices Qualifications β€’ Bachelor’s Degree (required) β€’ Strong experience with Data Management and Data Governance frameworks β€’ Hands-on experience with Data Cataloging and Metadata management β€’ Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and reporting β€’ Experience with Data Quality tools (Experian, Collibra, or similar) β€’ Reporting and documentation experience β€’ Healthcare industry experience β€’ Familiarity with Epic (strong plus)Experience with Alation (strong plus)
