Role description
Join us as an MI & Performance Analyst (6-month FTC), and you'll make sure we can give accurate and insightful Management Information for our Global Sourcing Team who support our client portfolio from a direct delivery perspective.
This is a role that's about driving performance - and shaping our approach to global recruitment challenges. And because we're big on creating home-grown leaders, it's also an opportunity to develop and progress rapidly.
You will be aligned specifically our Global Sourcing Team in Manchester and will support those with the timely delivery of an MI suite including regular reporting, data analysis, performance tools and other meaningful insights to support the performance and service delivery of the team.
The role will also assist in the validation and regular extraction, transformation and loading of all incoming data, including both internal originating and external third-party recruitment data from clients or market data providers.
Analytics:
• Develop, maintain, and enhance reporting tools, dashboards, and analytics in Excel and Power BI, ensuring accuracy, usability, and alignment with business needs.
• Work closely with the MI Consultant and MI Lead to deliver proactive and on-demand reporting, providing insights for business reviews, governance, and performance against SLAs and KPIs.
• Extract, validate, and cleanse data from source systems to ensure high-quality reporting and timely distribution to key stakeholders.
• Produce and manage regular system reconciliation reports, data integrity toolkits, and scorecards to enhance data quality and metric updates.
• Drive continuous improvement in data accuracy within client recruitment systems, working collaboratively with recruiters, administrators, and coordinators.
• Conduct analytical reviews to identify trends, business opportunities, and insights, providing meaningful commentary for the Global Sourcing Team.
• Support benchmark reporting across the global client base, collaborating with Analysts and MI Consultants.
• Provide financial analysis related to site-specific recruitment costs, pricing, and savings.
• Respond to ad-hoc reporting and change requests from account management, clients, or MI Consultants, tracking time and cost for such activities.
• Support financial administrators with account analysis and reconciliation related to billing activities.
• Identify and resolve data integrity issues by conducting exploratory analysis, implementing corrections, and recommending process improvements.
• Maintain and manage business-as-usual (BAU) reporting schedules, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
• Provide data insights and reports for internal stakeholders, including the Bid team, using Excel, Power BI, and CRM data.
• Ensure effective data governance and audit management of the CRM system on a global scale, supporting recruitment-related reporting and trend analysis.
Performance Management:
• Support operational and strategic initiatives to optimise performance, ensure contractual SLAs are met, and drive continuous improvement.
• Monitor and analyse key metrics, providing data-driven insights, forecasting, invoicing, and compliance support.
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and recommendations for operational enhancements.
• Stay updated on best practices across regions, recommending and implementing relevant improvements within the Global Sourcing Team.
• Assist in forecasting activities by reviewing performance against budget and revenue targets, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders for alignment.
• Develop and deliver Quarterly Business Reviews for all accounts supported by the Global Sourcing Team.
• Identify missed revenue opportunities and potential areas for growth across supported accounts.
• Conduct senior stakeholder mapping, engaging with heads of departments and functional leads to strengthen relationships.
• Develop and implement customer engagement strategies, fostering strategic relationships through regular communication and meetings.
• Provide regular briefings to RWO teams on business function strategy and talent objectives, ensuring clarity on future workforce demand.
• Deliver weekly performance analysis to Managing Directors and support regional outsourcing managers with ad hoc requests globally.
• Collaborate with RWO teams to address critical short- and long-term skills requirements.
• Provide key stakeholders with market and competitor intelligence to support strategic decision-making.
• Oversee service delivery and performance at a functional level, ensuring compliance with SLAs and corporate policies.
• Advocate for programme adoption across the business, driving service innovation and optimisation.
• Produce functional MI reporting and effectively communicate data insights to senior and MD-level stakeholders.
Essential Requirements:
• Proven experience in MI/analytics, business reporting, and performance analysis within a client-focused environment.
• Ability to interpret and analyse SLAs, KPIs, and OLAs to drive performance improvements.
• Expertise in designing, implementing, and deploying performance metrics that inform key business decisions.
• Proficiency in building dynamic dashboards and reports using Excel and Power BI.
• Skilled in using Power Query to shape, transform, and model data for analysis.
• Understanding of data warehousing and data modelling concepts.
• A degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Science, or a Business-related discipline is preferred.
• Knowledge of ATS, VMS, and CRM platforms, including front-end configuration and data flow processes, is desirable.
• Experience in evaluating target operating models (TOMs) and optimising team structures for efficiency.
• Strong understanding of coaching models with experience in fostering a culture of continuous improvement across all organisational levels.
