CSG and Boost Education Services (Boost) are recruiting for a candidate to develop a digital platform to automate and optimise national and international student recruitment, increasing student success rates at admission, and increasing retention and course fee income for partner Universities.
Working at Boost’s offices near Canary Wharf, London, the candidate will have the opportunity to apply their academic and business knowledge to this commercial project.
Boost is a London-based student recruitment agency, operating in the UK, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal and Nigeria. The KTP will support Boost to increase organisational capacity, reduce errors, improve admission success rates, and help develop more efficient marketing strategies
Responsibilities
The candidate will develop an AI-based Intelligent, Customised Admissions and Recruitment Engagement (iCARE) platform.
Specifically, the candidate will collect real-time data (admission requirements, scholarships) from university websites and update datasets; build an advanced Reinforcement Learning model, automating optimal matching of candidates to departments and universities; and integrate front-end applications, optimising dashboards and user experience.
Person Specification
We are looking for a candidate with B.Sc. in Computer Science or Information Technology, and a Higher Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, with focus on Natural Language Processing (NLP), information retrieval, or data mining. Knowledge of date engineering, web scraping, data science and analytics, reinforcement learning and NLP is essential, as is experience of planning and conducting complex academic or commercial projects, and real-time model updating.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of software development and integration and experience of working within the international student recruitment sector.
