Job Title: Microsoft Sustainability ManagerJob Description:As a member of the Corporate Systems team within CAAtech, the Microsoft Sustainability Manager will design and implement state-of-the-art sustainability solutions tailored for a global clientele on the Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability (MCfS) platform. The primary goal of the role is to create innovation-driven sustainability initiatives that align with industry practices while delivering measurable outcomes for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop Model-Driven Apps (MDAs) to address diverse business needs, ensuring efficient data models, logical structures, and user-friendly interfaces.
Lead the design of MDAs tailored for sustainability efforts, including carbon footprint tracking, resource optimization, and sustainable supply chain management.
Configure and customize Microsoft Sustainability Manager (MSM) solutions to address specific client needs and environmental challenges.
Create engaging Power BI dashboards and analytical reports to track sustainability metrics and client targets.
Develop and optimize KPI models to monitor progress in environmental and sustainability initiatives.
Partner with data analysts and other interdisciplinary teams to interpret complex data structures and ensure data visualization accuracy.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in sustainability software architectures and apply relevant innovations to projects.
Leverage expertise in the Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability Common Data Model (CDM) to drive solution excellence.
Skills and Attributes for Success:
Demonstrated experience as a Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability developer or equivalent, with a focus on Model-Driven Apps and Azure Cloud infrastructure.
Proficiency in Microsoft Dataverse with expertise in crafting optimized and scalable data models.
Expertise in Power Platform Core (e.g., Dataverse/CDS, Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, Power Portals/Power Pages).
Advanced capabilities in Model-Driven App development, including Plugin Development, PCF Components, Ribbon Customization, FetchXML, and XRM APIs.
Proven skills in Power Automate solutions, ensuring efficiency and high-performance optimization.
Strong experience in JavaScript-based form customizations and validations.
Familiarity with Power FX and development of PCF components is a plus.
Adept at integrating Microsoft Azure technologies such as Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Functions, and Azure Data Lake into sustainability solutions.
Advanced Power BI expertise, including DAX scripting, Power Query development, and data models for Common Data Model (CDM).
Hands-on knowledge with Azure DevOps for Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes.
Demonstrated leadership in driving high-quality deliverables within project timelines.
Strong communication and presentation skills for client-facing technical demonstrations.
Ability to work independently or in a team with a proactive, solution-driven mindset.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelorβs or Masterβs degree in a relevant area.
5β10 years of professional experience, with a preference for candidates from consulting or professional services environments.
Consulting experience and strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong analytical skills for multi-project management and prioritization.
Experience in leading teams effectively with minimal supervision.
Client Expectations & Deliverables:
Candidates will provide technical solutions while fostering collaboration with stakeholders and ensuring deadlines are met. Technical demonstrations may also be required to articulate insights and promote client engagement.
