Mid-Level Business Analyst

Job Title: IT Junior Business Analyst (W2 Only – No C2C) Location: Charlotte, 28211 Employment Type: Contract, W2 Only, 3 months Work Schedule: 4-day work week (M/W/TH with flexibility) Job Overview We are seeking a flexible and detail-oriented Junior Business Analyst to join our Agile IT team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is comfortable switching between business analysis and testing tasks. You’ll work closely with developers, QA analysts, and stakeholders to support the full Agile lifecycle. Key Responsibilities • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements • Analyze business processes and identify areas for improvement • Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and support QA efforts • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives • Write clear and concise user stories and acceptance criteria • Support production deployments and gather user feedback Top Skills Required • Strong documentation and communication skills • Experience in Agile environments • Ability to gather and refine requirements • Flexibility to perform both BA and QA tasks as needed • UAT experience Nice-to-Have Skills • Experience writing user stories • Basic SQL knowledge • Data analysis skills • Exposure to Blazer and Power Platform • Experience in banking or financial services Team & Environment You’ll be joining a collaborative team of 4 developers, 2 QA analysts, and other BAs. The team values flexibility, cross-functional support, and continuous improvement.
