Job Description pureIntegration is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our growing team developing globally scaled video platforms that handle billions of requests and millions of users. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD automation. You’ll play a critical role in building infrastructure and automation solutions to support the deployment, observability, reliability, and management of globally scaled applications across public (AWS) and private cloud environments. This is a remote W-2 hourly position with the possibility of conversion to a full-time role. The hourly rate range for the role is $47- $55/hour. Candidates will be paid within this range based on their work experience and skills. Responsibilities: • Act as a subject matter expert in Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD, and Kubernetes. • Develop robust Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform for AWS deployments. • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Concourse. • Design and automate deployment workflows across multiple environments. • Collaborate with QA engineers to implement K6s-based load testing within CI/CD pipelines. • Set up and manage containerized environments using Kubernetes for microservices applications. • Implement monitoring and observability solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and Elasticsearch/Kibana. • Establish best practice SDLC workflows, Git usage patterns, and version control strategies for automation code. • Ensure automation integrates with broader DevSecOps practices, including security, identity, monitoring, and backups. • Support agile team delivery and lead technical enablement sessions for development and operations teams. Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience. • 3+ years in Automation/DevOps engineering roles. • 3+ years of experience with Ansible and AWS, including working in Linux environments. • 3+ years developing automation for applications in AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, IAM). • 2+ years deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters. • 2+ years writing and managing CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Concourse. • Experience integrating QA and performance testing with tools like K6s. • Solid experience using Terraform in collaborative, multi-user environments with distributed state. • Proficiency in Git-based workflows for managing IaC (Infrastructure as Code). • Experience in Agile environments with cross-functional teams. • Experience with monitoring/alerting solutions including Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack. Preferred Skills: • Knowledge of other DevOps tools (GHA, Artifactory). • Strong scripting experience (Bash, Python, JavaScript). • Strong understanding of cloud networking and security principles.
