Summary/Objective
Trewon is seeking a committed Jr. System Requirements Planner to help support our federal client and team. The System Requirements Planner will work with SMEs and leverage knowledge of sample environments below to customize and create application solutions. This role requires organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to collaborate within a team environment.
Increase Cloud oversight and management support, enabling ISSO to keep pace with the growth in move toward Cloud technology and platforms. Skilled candidate with knowledge of cloud services, that can meet the immediate need of the migrated systems, automated processes, policies, and plans, ensuring appropriate ISSO oversight as prescribed by ISO/IEC 27018:2019 (Information technology - Security techniques - Code of practice for protection of personally identifiable information (PII) in public clouds), in accordance with E.O. Order and FISMA 2002 reporting. Increase in Cloud technology and move of various platforms to the Cloud requires an increase in ISSO Oversight responsibility. Skilled candidate with knowledge of cloud services that can meet the immediate need of the migrated systems, automated processes, policies, and plans to ensure appropriate ISSO oversight.
β’ Enable quick and easy planning, development, creation, and interpretation of federal and department cloud related cybersecurity policies.
β’ Identify areas requiring further guidance, recommends corrective action, and provide ISSO Oversight and guidance as directed.
β’ Aid cloud system owners, domestic, and overseas ISSOs in the planning designing, development, testing, and facilitating of cloud system cybersecurity functions and policies, including A&A of platforms and major systems that reside in the cloud.
Responsibilities

β’ Coordinate and schedule meetings with Regional and Domestic (RD) Cloud Review team and stakeholders across the Diplomatic Technology (DT) and bureaus and offices within Department of State (DoS) with relevant cloud systems within RD's scope
β’ Prepare agendas, take detailed meeting minutes, and distribute action items

β’ Ensure effective communication and follow-up on tasks assigned during meetings
β’ Develop and maintain Cloud Review process documentation, reports, and review updates
β’ Maintain daily interactions with our stakeholders to assist them with Cloud Review requirements to ensure that the Cloud Reviews are being conducted as efficiently as possible
β’ Work with stakeholders to inform them of the Cloud Review process and requirements so that they are properly made aware of expectations
β’ Be knowledgeable about cybersecurity principles, Assessment and Authorization (A&A), Risk Management Framework (RMF), relevant NIST Special Publications (SPs), and the cloud environment
β’ Support the implementation of the Cloud Review process

β’ Provide analysis on stakeholder engagement and Cloud Review process to optimize future engagements
β’ Develop and gather metrics related to the Cloud Review process, Cloud Review reports, and outcomes of the reports
β’ Perform general administrative duties, such as organizing documentation, managing communication, and managing stakeholder engagement
β’ Assist in preparing the Cloud Review reports, presentations, and other materials for executive and team review
β’ Maintain tools and methods to manage the Cloud Review process and ensure that timelines and deliverables are met and up to date

β’ Serve as a liaison between the Cloud Review team, RD leadership, ISSO leadership, and stakeholders
β’ Ensure smooth communication and cooperation among all stakeholders throughout the Cloud Review lifecycle
β’ Assist in identifying and resolving any conflicts, risks or issues, address stakeholder concerns, and align Cloud Review goals and expectations
β’ Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with competing and shifting priorities
β’ Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
β’ Manage multiple Cloud Review efforts for the different Cloud Reviewers
β’ Maintain and update the Cloud Asset List as needed

Eligibility Requirements
β’ An undergraduate degree and 2+ years' progressive experience in projects, demonstrating ability to provide tools and utilities to detect, identify, track, report, remediate, and/or mitigate vulnerabilities.
β’ 2+ yrs of experience with NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) and its implementation for successful Authorization and Accreditation (A&A) process and Authority To Operate (ATO) package.
β’ 2+ yrs of experience with variety of security scanning and event correlation tools within AWS, Microsoft SCC, Google environments, etc.
β’ 2+yrs of experience with scanning and monitoring tools such as Nessus, Tenable, WebInspect, Splunk etc.
β’ 2+ yrs of experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Unix, Linux, Java Script etc)
β’ Experience with developing and managing multiple projects of high complexity with multiple tasks each.
β’ Professional certifications such as AWS, MS Azure, Google Cloud certification, ISACA CEH, ISC2 CISSP, and PMI-PMP are desirable but not required.
β’ Understanding of cybersecurity practices and the Federal Risk Management Framework with experience collaborating closely with stakeholders and end users.
β’ Reporting experience with MS-SQL; and data registers and business intelligence solutions such as Tableau, Power BI, and Excel.
β’ Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing, shifting priorities.
β’ Experience delivering presentations and leads client meetings. Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
