Overview:
The Software Integration Engineer will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of a large-scale multi-tenant Kubernetes "on-prem" cluster. This cluster forms the foundation for mission-critical applications spanning multiple tenants.
The engineer will collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Application teams to:
β’ Implement automation
β’ Enforce best practices
β’ Support the integration of new services
β’ Ensure reliability, performance, and security of the Kubernetes infrastructure
Required Skills:
β’ Experience with Linux CLI
β’ Proficiency in Bash and Python scripting
β’ Strong skills in Kubernetes workload troubleshooting (networking, ingress, storage, performance)
β’ Hands-on experience with Docker containerization
β’ Demonstrated Kubernetes administration and monitoring
β’ Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Helm and Ansible
β’ Experience using Prometheus and Grafana for system monitoring
β’ Familiarity with Git for source code management, including branching strategies and team collaboration
Desired Skills:
β’ Experience with Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
β’ Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines
β’ CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) certification
