MongoDB Data Analyst

Job Title: Level 5 Mongo DB Data Analyst Location: Charlotte, NC San Antonio, TX Irving, TX (3 days onsite) Only W2 Project Scope: This platform is MongoDB-focused. Additionally, another internal application has decided to adopt MongoDB as its primary database. The team currently does not have a MongoDB expert, creating an immediate need for a skilled data analyst with deep Mongo experience to support both initiatives. Top Skills / Must-Have Skills: • 7+ years total data experience, with 3+ years focused on MongoDB (hands-on experience required) • Strong understanding of data normalization and unstructured data • Experience with accounting, customer financial data, and general ledger (GL) • Capable of structuring and un-structuring data for analytics and reporting needs • Experience managing or analyzing cash and financial transactions • Ability to translate business requirements into technical user stories • Strong written communication and documentation skills Nice-to-Have Skills: • Experience designing or supporting backend data systems • Data quality management and manual data QA/QC experience • Experience developing in Agile/Scrum environments Day-to-Day Responsibilities: • Collaborate with Scrum teams and business analysts to define and refine data requirements • Design and optimize MongoDB data structures for analytics and reporting • Write and refine user stories related to MongoDB data processes • Ensure manual and automated data quality checks • Support backend data design for the Internal Credit Intelligence platform and related systems
