About the Role
We are seeking a skilled PowerBI / PowerApp Engineer with 3β5 years of experience to join our team. This role focuses on leveraging Microsoftβs Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint) to streamline workflows, support data-driven decision-making, and build custom dashboards that enhance productivity.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise along with a solid understanding of business needs, ensuring solutions are effective, scalable, and user-friendly.
Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain solutions using Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint.
Develop and integrate solutions with scripting languages (PowerShell, JavaScript, Python) to extend platform functionality.
Build custom applications, dashboards, and automated workflows to address business requirements.
Create and optimize data models, ensuring accurate and actionable insights in Power BI dashboards.
Partner with stakeholders to define KPIs and design reports that drive decision-making.
Connect Power BI to multiple data sources for seamless integration.
Develop, customize, and maintain SharePoint sites, workflows, and lists.
Enhance user experiences for Power Apps and SharePoint through responsive design and UI improvements.
Document workflows, design process improvements, and train users on automated solutions.
Qualifications (Must-Haves)
3β5 years of experience in software development (designing, programming, debugging, and enhancing applications).
2β3 years of hands-on experience developing Power BI solutions.
1β2 years of experience working with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).
Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals (or ability to obtain).
Preferred Skills
Expertise in Power Query for data preparation (cleaning, transforming, loading).
Strong data modeling skills (relationships, calculated columns, DAX measures).
Experience creating impactful reports/dashboards that communicate insights clearly.
Knowledge of managing Power BI workspaces, datasets, reports, and row-level security.
Experience designing and deploying workflows with Power Automate (cloud & desktop flows).
Familiarity with Microsoft Dataverse and integrating Power Platform components.
SQL knowledge for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
