Neo4j Graph Database Developer
Location :: Remote
About the Role:
We are seeking two skilled Neo4j Graph Database Developers to join our data engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing graph-based data models using Neo4j to support critical business applications and data insights.
You will work closely with data scientists, backend engineers, and business stakeholders to create scalable, performant, and maintainable graph solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Design and implement graph data models and Cypher queries in Neo4j.
β’ Develop and maintain data pipelines to ingest and transform data into Neo4j from various sources.
β’ Integrate Neo4j with enterprise applications, APIs, and other databases.
β’ Optimize graph queries for performance and scalability.
β’ Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to support business use cases.
β’ Implement security, access control, and backup strategies for graph data.
β’ Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation
Required Qualifications:
β’ 2+ years of experience working with Neo4j and the Cypher query language.
β’ Strong knowledge of graph data modeling principles.
β’ Experience integrating Neo4j with applications using Java, Python, or JavaScript.
β’ Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and database fundamentals.
β’ Familiarity with data integration tools (e.g., ETL pipelines, Kafka, or similar).
β’ Experience working with REST APIs and/or GraphQL.
Nice to Have:
β’ Experience with knowledge graphs or semantic data.
β’ Familiarity with graph algorithms (PageRank, shortest path, etc.).
β’ Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and Neo4j Aura.
β’ Exposure to microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
β’ Background in data science or machine learning.
