Next.js Developer

About the Company A fast-growing AI content creation platform generating 7 figures in annual revenue (~$3M ARR) and setting our sights on scaling into a $1–10B business. As they prepare to launch new products, we’re looking for a full-stack engineer to take ownership of our current platform maintaining, improving, and evolving the experience for our global community of creators. The Role This is an opportunity to join a lean, ambitious team and directly shape a product that powers creativity at scale. You’ll own both frontend and backend development of the existing platform, focusing on user experience improvements, new feature rollouts, and stability enhancements. What You’ll Do • Maintain and enhance the current web platform, improving performance and usability. • Build and refine UI/UX features with Next.js and React. • Support backend development and integrate APIs (Python experience strongly preferred). • Update and optimize user-facing areas such as social, concept, and marketplace pages. • Collaborate closely with design and leadership to deliver fast, thoughtful iterations. • Ensure a smooth, high-quality experience for users as the platform scales. What We’re Looking For • Proven experience building full-stack products from the ground up (React + Next.js required). • Strong understanding of frontend frameworks and deployment workflows (Vercel, Cursor, etc.). • Familiarity with Python-based backends and API integration. • Track record of shipping production-quality work in a startup or small team environment. • Passion for building clean, intuitive, user-centered products. • Computer Science or STEM degree is required. • Open to international candidates; preference for in-person work in NYC.
