Role Description We are seeking a NX Engineer with deep expertise in NX Open development, NX customization, and Teamcenter integration to support automation and digital transformation across CAD/CAM/CAE environments. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of architecting, developing, and deploying custom NX and Teamcenter solutions in both cloud and on-premises environments. This role involves automating complex design and manufacturing workflows, integrating advanced simulation and additive manufacturing features, and providing expert-level support to engineering and production teams. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and deploy NX Open applications using C++, C#, Java, Python, and VB.NET for advanced CAD/CAM/CAE automation. • Customize and integrate Teamcenter solutions (versions 10–14 and 2312+) with NX using ITK, BMIDE, and Active Workspace Client. • Automate NX CAM and design processes to improve productivity, enforce standards, and eliminate manual efforts. • Develop cloud-native and hybrid applications integrating NX, Teamcenter, and third-party tools (e.g., CASTOR, Cameo, Zoller). • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to implement customized workflows and toolsets across global operations. • Support and manage large-scale NX upgrades and migrations, ensuring compatibility of custom applications and configurations. • Lead the integration of simulation data and additive manufacturing into NX workflows using custom UI, data visualization, and cloud services. • Provide level 3 support for NX and Teamcenter issues and mentor users and junior developers in automation best practices. Required Qualifications: • 4+ years of hands-on experience with Siemens NX and NX Open API development. • Strong programming skills in C++, C#, Java, Python, and VB.NET. • Expert in Teamcenter development, including BMIDE, ITK, Active Workspace, and multi-tier environments. • Proven experience in CAD/CAM/CAE automation, tool migration, and system integration. • Hands-on experience deploying applications in cloud and hybrid environments (AWS, Azure, IIS). • Ability to support advanced workflows like additive manufacturing, tool management, and MBSE integration (e.g., Cameo). • Experience working with major enterprise clients in aerospace, defense, or manufacturing industries. • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
