Onsite Oracle PL/SQL Developer Contract Louisville, KY Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Oracle Developer with deep expertise in Oracle SQL and a strong background in handling large data volumes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing SQL queries and database structures to support high-performance applications and data processing systems. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain complex Oracle SQL queries, including joins, subqueries, indexes, clustered indexes, and partitions. • Design and implement efficient database schemas and indexing strategies to support large-scale data operations. • Perform SQL performance optimization, including query tuning, execution plan analysis, and resource usage monitoring. • Collaborate with data architects and application developers to ensure scalable and reliable data solutions. • Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks in existing SQL code and database configurations. • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with organizational standards. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Proven experience as an Oracle Developer with strong command of Oracle SQL. • Hands-on experience with indexing strategies, clustered indexes, and partitioning in Oracle databases. • Demonstrated ability to handle large volumes of data efficiently. • Expertise in SQL performance tuning and optimization techniques. • Familiarity with Oracle database tools and utilities (e.g., SQL • Plus, TOAD, Oracle Enterprise Manager). • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with PL/SQL and stored procedures. • Exposure to cloud-based Oracle environments. • Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes.
