Required Skills & Experience
β’ Experience using Open Metadata / Collate AI Platform.
β’ Experience in integrating applications or systems with Open Metadata management platform.
β’ Ability to collaborate with data owners, stewards, architects, and technology teams.
β’ Experience with systems like Airflow, Snowflake, and others.
What You Will Be Doing
β’ Develop and implement metadata management strategies, including defining metadata standards, naming conventions, and business definitions in line with organizational policies.
β’ Create, maintain, train and support teams on metadata tools and best practices including enhancement of metadata across multiple platforms and systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
β’ Facilitate data discovery by improving metadata quality and consistency, and support data governance initiatives through metadata management.
β’ Assist in defining and managing data lineage, identifying relationships between data elements across systems, and supporting impact analysis.
β’ Provide training and support to teams on metadata tools and best practices.
β’ Manage metadata repositories or databases, data models, while promoting a data-centric culture within the organization.
β’ Ensure the quality and integrity of metadata through validation and consistency checks.
β’ Collaborate with data owners, stewards, architects, and technology teams to ensure alignment on metadata management practices and drive data stewardship.
β’ Manage and leverage data effectively by ensuring proper metadata is created, maintained, and utilized across various systems.
β’ Will work with data teams and stakeholders to establish metadata standards, improve data discovery, data lineage, data quality, and enhance data governance practices using Open Metadata solutions.
