Role description
Role: Open Shift Engineer Location: Dallas, TX Candidate must reside within 25 miles of job location :Yes Note: Interviews are ONSITE They will have to pay for parking if they get the job, something to note for rate purposes. Required Skills and Experience: β€’ OpenShift Administration β€’ OpenShift Data Foundation β€’ OpenShift Platform Plus β€’ Advanced Cluster Management β€’ Advanced Cluster Security β€’ Ceph Administration β€’ Extensive knowledge of Linux Containers (Docker), Kubernetes, and deployment of containerized applications/microservices architectures β€’ Working knowledge of Java, JBoss, nginx, Node.js, and enterprise application architectures β€’ Specific knowledge and experience with migrating and refactoring applications to containerized workloads β€’ Experienced with automated deployment tools β€’ Conceptual and applied understanding of DevOps concepts, tools, and practices β€’ Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab β€’ Analytic skills and the ability to apply these skills in a multi-tasking environment where multiple projects will require participation at a given time β€’ Ability to communicate complex technical issues, and provide comprehensive written, oral and digital products β€’ Working knowledge of networking topics such as protocols, firewalls, load balancer, etc. β€’ Must have the willingness to document, share knowledge and train other members of the team.
