Job Description: Key Responsibilities: • Assess and understand the architecture, dependencies, and deployment configurations of existing applications running on Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF). • Plan and execute the migration of applications from PCF to OpenShift, ensuring minimal disruption and maintaining application functionality. • Implement the necessary configuration changes and deploy the migrated applications to OpenShift clusters, following best practices for container orchestration and management. • Identify and resolve any issues that arise during and after migration, including deployment failures, container errors, and platform-specific problems in the OpenShift environment. • Fine-tune applications and container settings for optimal performance, scalability, and efficient resource utilization in the OpenShift platform. • Implement security best practices, including role-based access control (RBAC), secrets management, and compliance with corporate policies during and after the migration process. • Work closely with development, DevOps, and operations teams to ensure smooth migration, provide clear documentation for the OpenShift environment, and offer support post-migration. Required Qualifications: • 6+ years of experience in designing and architecting enterprise container platforms, with 5+ years of experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF). • Extensive experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration. • Proficiency in OpenShift cloud platforms • Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools and CI/CD tools using Harness • Familiarity with cloud-native patterns, microservices, and application modernization strategies. • Scripting languages like shell/Helm charts modules • Experience in Autosys
