Title: Senior OpenText Documentum Developer Category: Software Development/ Engineering Job Type: Contract Location: Reston, VA preferred, Plano TX accepted, client site 3 days a week Please include interview availability for 8/4-8/8 with submission Must be willing to accept conversion salary and convert at 6 months Description: Senior OpenText Documentum Developer Your future duties and responsibilities We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior OpenText Documentum Developer to join our team in a contract-to-hire capacity. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise content management solutions using the Documentum platform. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, strong programming skills, and a collaborative mindset to support mission-critical applications. The position is based in either Reston, VA (preferred) or Plano, TX, with a hybrid work model requiring three days onsite per week. Required qualifications to be successful in this role • 7–10 years of hands-on experience with Documentum components including Content Server, D2 (Classic, Config, Smart View), Brava, CTS, xPlore, and DFC Client. • At least 2 years of experience building REST APIs using the Spring Framework, ideally for ECM platforms. • Strong proficiency in Java (required) and Python (preferred). • Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, Jira, IntelliJ, Tomcat/J2EE, and relational databases. • Solid understanding of design patterns, unit testing, code coverage, deployment pipelines, and system monitoring. • 3+ years of experience with AWS services such as EC2, ECS, RDS, ALB, SSM, SQS, SNS, Lambda, and AWS SDK. • Comfortable working in Agile Scrum environments, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver results without constant oversight. • Preferred certifications: AWS, Documentum, and Java. • 7+ years of experience Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $95,800.00 - $136,400.00.
