Job Title : OpenText Exstream Developer
Location : Dallas, TX/Denver, CO
Long Term Contract
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail oriented OpenText Exstream Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying customer communications using OpenText Exstream (formerly HP Exstream). You will play a key role in enhancing customer experience through high-quality document generation and personalized communications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain document templates using OpenText Exstream (Dialogue or Composition).
• Work with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and understand requirements.
• Integrate Exstream solutions with backend data sources (e.g., XML, JSON, flat files, databases).
• Optimize document workflows for print and digital channels (PDF, email, web, SMS).
• Perform unit and system testing, support user acceptance testing (UAT), and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with IT teams on deployment, version control, and release management.
• Create technical documentation and participate in knowledge sharing.
• Ensure compliance with company branding and regulatory standards (e.g., ADA, GDPR, etc.).
Required Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience with OpenText Exstream software (version 16 or later preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Exstream modules: Design Manager, Empower, StoryTeller, and Communications Server.
• Experience with scripting (VBScript, JavaScript) and working with data files (XML, CSV, JSON).
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git, SVN) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of document output processes (print, email, e-presentment).
