Job Title: Operations Data Analyst – Expert Location: 300 Lakeside Dr, Oakland, CA 94612 (Onsite/Hybrid as applicable) Duration: 12 Months Pay Rate: $60–$90/hr (W2) Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and highly analytical Operations Data Analyst – Expert to transform complex enterprise data into clear, actionable insights that drive operational and strategic decision-making. This role requires advanced data analysis expertise, strong Power BI capabilities, and exceptional communication skills to effectively translate data insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across multiple enterprise systems, collaborating cross-functionally, and building scalable, automated reporting solutions. Key Responsibilities Data Analysis & Insight Generation • Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, risks, patterns, and operational improvement opportunities • Apply advanced analytical techniques to support business decision-making • Respond to ad hoc and recurring data requests with accuracy and timeliness • Translate analytical results into actionable recommendations Data Management & Integration • Collect, clean, validate, and integrate data from multiple enterprise systems • Extract and analyze data from SAP to support forecasting and planning efforts • Manage structured data extraction and transfer processes • Develop automated data routines and scalable reporting workflows Reporting, Visualization & Tools • Design and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI • Utilize Foundry for advanced analytics, modeling, and workflow management (preferred) • Apply GIS tools for spatial analysis and mapping • Support asset investment planning and lifecycle analysis using Copperleaf (preferred) Communication & Cross-Functional Collaboration (Core Focus) • Clearly communicate analytical findings, assumptions, and insights • Present data-driven narratives to business leaders and stakeholders • Partner with cross-functional teams to define analytical requirements • Act as a trusted advisor in shaping analytical questions and strategic insights Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience) • Strong hands-on experience building dashboards in Power BI • Advanced SQL skills with experience working with structured datasets • Proven ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Experience working cross-functionally to deliver data-driven solutions Preferred Qualifications • Hands-on experience with Foundry for data modeling and workflows • Experience with Copperleaf for asset investment planning • Experience working in utility, energy, or asset-intensive industries Core Competencies • Analytical Thinking • Data Storytelling & Executive Communication • Process Automation • Stakeholder Engagement • Cross-Functional Collaboration
