Role description
Role: Oracle DFCS (data foundation cloud services) engineer Location: Stamford, CT Job Type: Contract Key Responsibilities • Lead end-to-end DFCS deployment, including system configuration, integration, and testing aligned with regulatory and operational needs. • Set up and manage DFCS data ingestion pipelines, configure connectors, data catalogs, and governance settings. • Manage user access via pre-defined groups such as DFCS Admin, Pipeline Admin, Business Users, etc. Assign RBAC roles and privileges appropriately. • Configure metadata export/import, monitor pipelines, oversee data catalog, and maintain user roles and approvals. • Customize role-based UI experiences for Business Analysts, Data Governance Analysts, and Admin Users. • Develop, configure, and manage pipelines for data integration, quality validation, reconciliation, and results reporting. • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data flows; validate data quality, accuracy, and compliance. • Integrate DFCS with Oracle Cloud ERP modules (e.g., Accounting Hub, General Ledger) and other downstream systems. • Use PL/SQL, XML Publisher, and Oracle Cloud tools for custom enhancements and report development. • Leverage integration tools such as Informatica to connect with data lakes, core banking systems, or other data sources. Required Qualifications • 8–15 years in Oracle Financials, especially with Accounting Hub (AHCS) and General Ledger (GL) modules. • Proven track record implementing DFCS or similar data consolidation frameworks within BFSI domains. • Proficient in PL/SQL, XML Publisher, Oracle Cloud tools. • Hands-on experience with data integration tools and platforms such as Informatica and Snowflake. • Strong knowledge of accounting, reconciliation, financial reporting, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., Basel, IFRS).
